HI!

No pics, no muss, no fuss...

Just saying Hi to my dear friends here and checking in.

Been busy and at the same time watching spring break forth all around me.

Been thinking deep thoughts and at the same time wearing a smile on my face knowing it's not all that deep.
I'm gonna practice smiling with my eyes more!  Eyes are deep.

Been taking care of business and remembering to BE in the moment once and awhile.  I mean reminding myself it all is what it is - experience it and let it goooo...

Apparently I have little to say when politics is off the table.  There's a laugh!

Have you been listening to the Eckhart Tolle CD A New Earth Disc #7? Sure sounds like it! Stay in the moment and then letting it goooooooo! Me too. Although I've had Tolle's book on CD playing every morning to start my day off remembering to stay in the moment!

I also bought a Deepak Chopra book, a referral from Meenakshi, about finding god or something to that effect… right now anything helping me to stay focused on spiritual stuff and not on me, my, ego, and self.

I'm waiting for Amazon to send it so I have something to do besides lay here in bed and fester! I hate missing work. I really hate being sort of sick instead of, Yep! I got myself a runny nose and a fever and I'm throwing up on myself! It's nice to be able to point to a runny snot factory nose and say, I'm sick…

Point to an abdomen that aches for no reason and a right buttock that has a tooth ache and you get some sympathetic looks but they all look like they're ready to turn you in at the nearest mental ward!

You could still talk about politics but it would have to be about your choice for prez, what you think Canada, the U.S. and Mexico becoming one big happy family, or do we drop a bomb on the Burma government so we can go help their people?~

Just making up the last two. Our paper had a front page story about the 25th anniversary of our most notorious crime committed right here in our county, the Diane Downs story. She shot and killed one of her three children and critically wounded the other two. All to the Duran Duran song she loved so well. I have driven on the exact road where she stopped her car to do the murder.

Then, in the City and Region section they brought up the Thurston High School shootings that were 10 years ago, unbelievable to say. Two students were killed and 25 were injured.

Oh yes, and Obama stopped for icecream at Prince Puckler's. He bought mint chocolate chip and some cones for his entourage shelling out a whopping $12 something, paid with a $20 and left a $5 tip!

This little town is quite the high society gal today! If you could see how really small we are in comparison to the Big Cities of this country you'd probably laugh! And we're the second largest because we have a city on one side of the river and a city on the other!

So you could tell us something going on in your newspaper and it would be extremely interesting over here cuz we don't have much going on! LOL

I hope that your Spring hasn't been the record temperature breaking Spring that we're having! 90 in May is TOO HOT!

Hey hey—
OMG thanks for the laughs and hellos.  Spring has been the opposite of hot here in MPLS.  True statement… tonight I debated whether to bring my cap and gloves with me.  I'm being brave and so left them at home.

I suppose I could talk about politics like this (speaking of local papers).  Is this even legal?  I guess we'll find out shortly as a date and courtroom are set for a hearing 1:30 pm May 22.

Blessings, David

David - I love that you are just checking in to say hello - It is great to hear from you!  Politics are always a good topic to get people talking, but just being with friends can be better, don't you think? Staying in the moment huh?  Good idea - however I think someone would have to physically hold my brain still to make that happen - it is always running amuck somewhere!  (As you can tell, I really suck at meditation - empty your mind - ha!) As far as letting it go - I say the words over and over - let it go, let it go, let it go… but somehow it always comes back!  (In the immortal words of The Godfather - “just when I thought I was out…”)

Wouldn't it be something if they really held Mr. Bush accountable for all that the court case says?  Ahhhh, in a perfect world…

Isn't Obama buying ice cream in  Amber's town exciting?  HA!!! Talk about shelling out the big bucks!  And my city thinks they are going to make millions this August with the Democratic convention!  Maybe they will - $5.00 tips at a time!!!  (lol)

Okay, and since we are talking here - can I just say I get enormous enjoyment out of trying to figure out all of the Texting Language you all always use here on your blog in particular?  That's right, I'm not too proud to admit that  I am not “hip” with the Initial talk - so it like trying to play a puzzle all of the time!

Take care Mr. David - we all love you!

Hi Jami!

I've got the PERFECT resource for you that someone gave to me! It's called Webopedia
and I go there OFTEN! LQTM I just looked that one up! You go and try and figure it out! I'll give you a hint… you start looking where the first letter starts with (L)!

Obama DID buy ice cream here in Eugene and what people don't realize is that it was at Prince Puckler's not at some Baskin Robbins! Not that I have anything against Baskin Robins but Prince Puckler's is a Eugene thing! I was excited that Obama won in Oregon. I wasn't really sure who to vote for but I decided to vote for what I hope will be as far away from what we're doing right now as we can get!

Jami, I really suck at meditation too. I've set my cell phone alarm to go off at 10am and 10pm to remind me to breath! Yes, I hold my breath all day sometimes and I don't even know it. I can't hold my breath underwater that long but I sure can hold my breath when I'm working, when I'm getting ready for work, when I go on errands… you know, things requiring thought, planning, alertness…

So don't try meditating. You'll just set yourself up for disappointment. Just try to remember to breath in and breath out once in awhile and listen and feel yourself do it. That's right! You've got it! See, you've been holding your breath too all this time!

Let it go LIG, LIG, LIG……

What is so excellent about this is that somehow, someway, in the endless serendipitous curves, turns, and convultions of the universe —  my blog gave someone else knowledge about texting and computer info…  ROFL!!!!

I wonder if all the questions I asked (just a few years ago) are still searchable here on ZNG?  Like…  Why is some of the text highlighted in BLUE?  ROFL again!

Anywhoooo…  the judge apparently heard the case and a decision is pending.  Interesting take on the whole thing IMO.

Blessings all, David
